Shawarma is one of the most popular Middle Eastern dishes. It started to spread widely in European countries and US. It is an amazing tasty dish that you will never get bored of. It is served with special rice or in sandwiches.

Shawarma is popular as Syrian dish. However, Shawarma is popular in Egypt and it is considered one of the best Egyptian dishes.'There is no big difference between Syrian and Egyptian techniques. Syrian Shawarma is unique by its garlic sauce called Tomeyya. However, Egyptian Shawarma is served with amazing Tahini sauce.

Shawarma is one of the easiest recipes. You don't have to search for a Middle Eastern restaurant from now. I am getting you with an easy fast recipe for chicken Shawarma. Here's the recipe;

Ingredients: • 1 lbs. chicken breasts cut in to thin slices or pieces. • 1 medium onion chopped in slices. • 2 small chopped tomatoes. • 2 small chopped green bell pepper. * 1 teaspoon salt or for taste. • ½ teaspoon black pepper. • ½ teaspoon cumin. • ½ teaspoon allspice. • ½ teaspoon cinnamon. • 2 teaspoon vinegar. • 2 teaspoon lemon juice. • Vegetable oil.

Preparation: • Wash the chicken then strain it completely from water. • In a mixing bowl, add chicken, onion slices, all seasoning, vinegar and lemon juice then mix them together. Leave it in the fridge for 30 min. Do not leave it too long because vinegar may loosen chicken. • Grease a nonstick pan with small amount of vegetable or olive oil, then put it over medium high heat. • When pan is hot, add the seasoned chicken then cook over medium high heat for 10 min with continuous stirring. • Add the chopped tomato and pepper and cook over low heat for 10 min or until chicken is fully cooked. Typical Egyptian Shawarma is served with Tahini sauce, but you can add mayonnaise or ketchup according to desire.
