Azizia or spaghetti pudding; an easy, affordable and delicious dessert.
Azizia is a popular Egyptian dessert. Azizia ingredients are available and affordable. It is made from spaghetti, milk and butter. It has a soft amazing texture. Azizia name comes from Arabic word "Aziz" which means darling. Azizia is so nutritious and it is a perfect dessert or snack for children.
Azizia is very easy and fast. Let's do it;
Ingredients:
½ liter milk.
70 gm spaghetti.
2 tablespoon cornstarch.
¼ cup sugar.
Vanilla.
¼ cup water.
1 tablespoon butter
Preparation:
Boil spaghetti pasta until it is fully cooked then restrain it.
Add sugar, ½ tablespoon butter and vanilla to milk then stir.
Add cornstarch to water and stir until full melting.
Bring milk to a boil then add cooked spaghetti and melted corn starch then cook over medium high heat for 5 min or until it is thick.
Let the mixture cool down then mix it in the blender until it is soft and homogenous.
Grease a casserole with oil or ghee or tahini then add the mixture.
Add the rest of the butter over the surface as small cubes.
Put the mixture in the oven over the highest degree and turn on the fan for 30 min or until the surface is gold.
Let it cool down then serve it.
